Remember · Reawaken · Acknowledge · Practice
Our Practitioners
Öktem AykutSound & Scent Practitioner
Öktem's path has taken him across more than 50 countries, from shamanic plant research in the Peruvian Amazon to Ayurveda and Yoga certifications in Kerala. Back in Turkey, he founded bi'avuç, a collective centered on medicinal and aromatic plants, and spent years leading sound meditations and concerts with one of Turkey's first handpan brands. His interdisciplinary practice weaves together botany, aromatherapy, music, and meditation — exploring the deep meditative connections between sound and scent.
Prof. Dr. Evrim Ölçer ÖzünelFolklorist · Storyteller · Researcher
A professor at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Evrim explores how mythic narratives and sacred symbolism shape human imagination and collective identity. As a member of UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee and Vice-Chair of its Evaluation Body, she contributes to the global safeguarding of living heritage. Her work combines rigorous scholarship with the wisdom of oral traditions, weaving academic insight with spiritual storytelling across international festivals, workshops, and publications.
Tarz-ı VefaMusic Ensemble
Founded in 2018, Tarz-ı Vefa Caravan researches, preserves, and performs Turkish and Central Asian musical traditions. Their repertoire spans Classical Turkish music, Sufi Tasavvuf, Anatolian folk songs, and the ancient tradition of Turkic music and movement therapy stretching from Central Asia through Khorasan to Anatolia — including spiritual dances such as Baksı, Mevlevi Sema, and Alevi–Bektashi Semah.
Beyza YavuzBeekeeper · Plant Practitioner
For nine years, Beyza has lived in a beekeeping village near Fethiye in deep communion with bees and plants. Her attunement to the natural world led her to share this awareness through bee and plant identification walks, and to found Paye Arıcılık, offering honey, beeswax, and propolis from her own hives. She works to foster connection between people — especially children — and the living intelligence of nature.
Cem KutupEcstatic Dance DJ · Space-Holder
Cem guides deep, joyful, and liberating journeys through music and movement. His sets blend organic rhythms, Anatolian melodies, and world music textures, while his conscious connection practices foster intimacy and authentic communication. The spaces he creates are safe and soulful — designed for people to reconnect with themselves and each other. His intention: to awaken the body, soften the heart, and celebrate life.

A graduate of Anadolu University State Conservatory's Acting Department, Öyküm has worked as an actor, choreographer, dancer, and instructor across various institutions. Alongside her practice as a psychological counselor, she is a dedicated herbalist — cultivating plants and producing natural incense through bi'avuç and blagoherbs. Her research focuses on the profound effects of plants and botanical scents on human emotions.
